Which site you prefer for hosting for your website?
I am currently using my own website.
What about you guys?
I would also like to know the answer to this. What hosting are you guys using?
I have hosting with godaddy. It's fine, but there is no cpanel and the backend is slooow.

i am using different free web hosts, and not the paid one
"comver", how's your experience with them. Are they reliable for a few months at least?
Thanks!

ie : some hosting doesn't allow proxy site, so i 'll find the one which allow it
in other case, some hosting doesn't allow torrent hosting, so i 'll find another one which allow it
so the answer is, it depends on the purpose

hostgator is good and so is bluehost. bluehost finally lifted the cap on cpu usage, so its almost double what it was previously.
if you are running proxies, a dedicated server is the only way to go. too much traffic for shared or vps IMO.

I use Awardspace for free! It is all I need for now, no ads or pop ups! No ads, no pop us, free email for your .com how can you beat that if need very basic? You do have to pay for upgrades like $10 for a custom 404 otherwise if someone types in correct subdomain or something it will go to an ad for free hosting from Awardspace... Also if you want to upload a forum, you need to use "zacky tools" and that is not available with the free hosting.
Again, for your very basic needs it is the way to go...

I use Hostgator for some of my main sites. I have been with them for over an year and have never had any problems with them. Their web hosting service is simply the best out there. Some people say they oversell, but when they are able to provide you with top notch hosting Who cares? They know how to maintain their servers stability, that's enough for me to choose them.

If a host tells you they only offer command‐line access to the hosting server or databases, run away; there is no need to settle for older technology like this, and very few hosts still force their clients to do it.
Webmail, spam filtering, email virus scanning, and the ability to white‐list and blacklist IP addresses are important features to look for in a hosting provider. Many hosts automatically refund downtime that exceeds their uptime guarantees, and this is a good sign of a trustworthy host.

I cannot say that one host is better than another, while talking of the reliable experienced providers, but I may recommend dealing with webhostgiant.com - the company of the possibly cheapest shared deals in the industry which include many useful features and are professionally supported.

The best hosting solutions I have ever used were presented by serverpoint.com. This is a company of professionals who do know what does the word "quality" mean. I recommend their service due to high reasonability and versatility.
