Godaddy for me too. It's advantageous to use godaddy since most people have a godaddy account, selling/transferring domains becomes easy.

Godaddy (http://godaddy.com/) is one the best domain name registrars. I have never registered a domain anywhere else. It's also advantageous as most users have a godaddy account and thus buying and selling of domains/websites becomes easy.

Oh I see.
So it seems like a blog which we have to register using their domains right?

Still I don't own the domain but I am plaining to purchase one in near future. Apart from this there is no question of Godaddy as domain registrar.

I trust namecheap as it is very reliable.
the interface is good and the website is very user friendly.

the price is a little higher but they are very good.

when i buy my proxies i shall be using godaddy, as it seems cheaper than all the others, and, as geek said, when you come to sell your domain on (which i plan to after a month or two) then it is easy and straightforward with godaddy coz si many people seem to use it

I've always used GoDaddy and am currently using wordpress as well as blogger but am probably going to just buy up the domains through godaddy to be on the safe side of anyone else buying them up.

I like godaddy because it was founded in 1997 as Jomax Technologies by Bob Parsons, who previously founded the software development company Parsons Technology, Inc. In 2007, Go Daddy was named "Most Innovative Company" by the 2007 Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) awards. Go Daddy also ranked number 2 on the ACE "25 Fastest Growing" companies list.Go Daddy has been listed among the "Best Places to Work in the Valley" for four consecutive years (2003-2007). This is best.

I used godaddy for my first domain purchase and used them for every other name since! It is very easy using a google search to find a promo code to bring the current $9.99 price down to a little over $7 final price... There techs have been very friendly and are knowledgeable and actually know what they are talking about!!! Someone needs to tell Tie Warner Cable about knowledgeable helpful service... I have hosted with them in the past, but for now free hosting elsewhere with no ads or pop ups does the trick for me.

Hey webmaster, how is transferring the $4.99 domain? Any problems? Any others problems with the service?

I'm impressed with godaddy eventhough I never used it. I feel like everyone should try this first for developing a site.

I also use godaddy for all my domain registrations and I also host my sites there.. I have tried 5-6 Indian hosting providers in past but none of them were as good as godaddy :)
