Google is the best among all search engines to get good organic traffic. Well, I would suggest to focus on both on-page and off-page optimization of your website and you will rank better in all top most search engines.

most of us focus more on Google of course but we shouldn't disregard other search engines such as Yahoo and MSN, do you know that we can gain higher traffic if we are on the first page of Yahoo or MSN rather than on the second page of Yahoo.. this is the fact that most people haven't think about.. they focus on google and targeting the hardest keyword which has lots of competitors and they end up frustrated because they only ranked on the second or third page of google which has lesser chances of traffic..

As for me I optimize according to the Google alghorythm because the most of my potential customers use Google But sometimes I pay attention to the Yahoo too

There are lots of different search engine (http://thesearchenginelist.com/) available on net. However, Google, Yahoo and Bing are the top 3 of them which very useful and much visited than the rest.

I focus on google because it gives me the efficient answer to my question and it is the most accurate among the search engine i know in the web:)
