.ME is almost out. What are your thoughts on this TLD? Is it worth to purchase a .me?

It is approximate $100 per domain for a 2 year registration.

what. I thought it will be 10$ I am surprised. I had plans to buy some but now I am rethinking.. It sounds too costly to afford.

.me? I thought it was a bad one to have. I know they recommend .com, .net and .info but not sure about all those others. Anyone care to jump in on this?

I personally prefer dot com! .me is too much to hope someone will remember if you will be advertising after .com .net .org have been drilled into peoples heads... If it is just your personal site, go ahead, but personally $100 is too much for me for a personal site... If it is for business, wouldn't you be afraid people will hear yoursite.me and go to yoursite.com?

I am curious to see how people register celebrity names hoping to sell them for high profits...???

.me is still not popular TLD also the cost to register is higher than other common TLDs. I would suggest to go for .com, .net and other common TLDs.
