or does it depend on what your website is, and if so, what features does it judge it by?

It really is kind of random. I know a person who got $0.12 a click and then another guy got $4 a click! I think it just bases it off of your luck.

I think It depends on the ads they click.If the advertiser give google more money,then will get more per click if someone click that advertisers ad
Also google count on impressions.Maybe impressions increase the payperclick
My highest was 0.9$ and got it on first day

payment from adsense depends on the keyword used.
There are high paying and low paying keywords.
so it is always advised to use keyword rich content.
