the 4 letter domain name hype!!!

hey, yu all must have heard ppl being into the 4 letter domain name business...
i wanted to know a bit more on these...and also a rough price indication, for how much a 4 letter name would sell, is it sure shot profit?

actually I feel that these names are in demand because no names are available of these type now.

also I feel that it is much easier to type these then typing the long names and easier to remember too like an abbreviation.
