Forum Posting - Hobby or Work. What do u feel ?

I do say sometimes it could be part time of work and I can say it is part of my hobby.

I love posting on forums... Sure you can make money posting... ...but you really have to post a lot to make anything... Compare that with how much you earn with the hours you put in, and think how much more you can make putting the hours into a part time job even paying just minimum wage...

I like to share, discuss, debate... I have even been known to troll... It is funny on some forums with certain people to get them worked up. lol

I started forum posting as hobby looooong back ago. Then I found I could make money from it. :D then I started to think serious about doing some work on it.
Besides, its more than just posting. The main thing for me is to meet new people, share stuffs, create a network of good people and do business.

I have learnt a lot from forums and newsgroups (earlier). I was a regular at Deja but preferred using tin and slrn for accessing newsgroups using an NNTP server. But forums are not bad when it comes to learning from others :)

In my own opinion? I think forum posting sometimes cure the essence of boredom, especially when you have nothing to do but wait and surf... It's good too, to response to the ideas of other people.
