.info Domain Names Risky

According to this article (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24966835/), .info domains are in the top three most dangerous domains.

McAfee found the most dangerous domains to navigate to are ".hk" (Hong Kong), ".cn" (China) and ".info" (information).

Since .info domains are cheap, they are affordable disposable domains for the bad apples that use Websites to dupe and infect people. :(

Domains with the cheap prices need to be careful with. We do not know behind the scene of those. Eventhough we can get it with the lowest price but its can ruin us because of the lowest price we chosen. Anyway, thanks for the worth information snowbird.

Generally the cost of .info domain is cheaper than other TLDs so most of the spammers go for .info. It is not advisable to use .info domain for live site.

Yea I agree but its not .info to blame for, its the Freakin people who gave it a bad name.
I think .info works quite well for those who don't have much to invest.

But ofcourse .info is just a start, after sometime, .com should over take and this proves the professional leap in online business.

yeah, it is not the fault of .info TLD but people have used this extension to misuse it and unfortunately the price of this TLS is lower than other one. Hence they can easily invest few $$ to purchase a domain and can start marking via email or other way.
