Does anyone know when Google will be updating the next PR?

My guess is late June or early July.

Build those backlinks quickly, because the PR snapshot will be soon...

As far as i know it is on July. Not so sure but anyone who knows the exact month please inform us. :)

I think google update the PR every three months (correct me if I am wrong) and last update was in April. So the next PR should be in July.

Well this PR might bring something great, hopefully to see some increment in PR of few websites.

It would be nice if PR was updated like Alexa ranks! But we have a month or so to wait I think.

Practically it is not possible to update PR like Alexa rank because Alexa gets the visitors record from their toolbar while to update PR Google needs to check backlinks and other stuff and it requires time to get all these details.
