I was amazed reading this. I got reference from their site and thought of sharing with you. I made Larry and Brin as my idols after knowing their tactics and concepts by this.
1. Google's name is a play on the word googol, which refers to the number 1 followed by one hundred zeroes. Google's play on the term reflects the company's mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.

2. Google started in January, 1996 as a research project at Stanford University, by Ph.D. candidates Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were 24 years old and 23 years old respectively.

3. Google receives daily search requests from all over the world, including Antarctica.

4. It consisted of over 450,000 servers, racked up in clusters located in data centers around the world.

5. The Google search engine receives about a billion search requests per day

These are are really cool! It was really amazing that they are juts like 23 and 24 yrs old and now they are like earning a whole bunch of money! You cannot imagine how clever and very lucky these guys are! I am personal fan of google where I can mostly find good search. I love the graphics too!:p

Really nice. All these facts were a great help to me so I could get something to wirte about on my project on Google. My teacher's gonna love this. And oh yeah, WAY TA GO GOOGLE!!!!
