For onpage SEO, make sure your Webpage title has the keywords you are targeting in it. It also helps to have the keyword in the URL. Use <H> tags accordingly to help structure your page. Write keyword rich pages.

For offpage SEO, get many links using your keywords in the anchor text (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchor_text). High quality links pointing back to your site will help the most.
