View Full Version : Submit Sitemap to Ask

For new sites, I always submit sitemaps to Google, Yahoo, and MSN. But I also submit my sitemap to Ask.com. In case you never submitted a sitemap to Ask, simply add the absolute URL after the "=" sign below and go to that URL in your browser. Ask will confirm success of the submission.

I've searched for this already, and now it's here :) Thank You ! I will try it, and we will see if I will get some more traffic ! But you can ping other services too, if you have a blog with fresh articles very day !

Does Ask own Alexa? Or the other way around? or neither? Either way, great info, I've never heard about doing this. I'll try it for sure.

But i thinks this all new search engine cant fight that top 3 search engine, and maybe MSN also will close soon if they still not do any improvement.

You can determine your Google Page Rank, Alexa Page Rank, inbound links, ... Submit all pages to the Google site map. Do so only when the site is completed.

It says that you have put your site url after the equal sign "=" in ( http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap= ). I haven't tried it but as far as they say it works.
