Dose money makes you happy?

In modern society, money is connected (directly or indirectly) to just about everything. It's required to live (unless you want to bum off of the people in the homeless shelter), and thus more of it increases how radically you can live.
So in response, I say that it is not necessarily money that makes me happy, but the things I can buy with it.
What is your opinion?

im happy not bcoz of money itself, but for the things i can have for using it..

I really don't know if money would make me happy, since I haven't ever had enough of it to know! But I suspect it might do so.

One thing I know for sure is that not having enough money is not fun. Wouldn't say it makes you unhappy all in itself, but it can definitely be a contributing factor.

Yes, everyone might be a bit happier with a little bit more money. But it's also the root of most evil so we should be very careful in handling it.

Yes, money makes me happy but I don't want to be rich or anything. I just want to have enough money so I'm not stressed over bills and food etc.

Though it's not the source of my entire happiness, money can make me happy sometimes. Especially when I use it to help out some of my friends or relatives in their financial problems, or use it to provide for my family. There's nothing wrong with money making us happy especially if we worked hard for it and as long as we don't use it for greed.

Yeah i think it can makes you happy in some way, no meter it is making you happy directly but somehow it can make happy the people around you and through this way you will be happy but money is a great factor of making men happy none can deny its value.

Yeah, because through money i can buy luxury things like laptop,car etc. I can enjoy wonderful trips and good food in big restaurants and hotels with our family.
