Does The Age Of A Website Matter when it comes to search results
This question gets a lot of attention around the forums and alike.
Recently, the Google spokesman, Matt Cutt’s was asked about this topic in an interview with Web Pro News. Go here to read his response.

It seems that the link will be useful. But i thought that the google changes its rule sooner or later.. So not surely but it may be possible that sometimes the age matters and sometimes it doesn't..

It surely does seem that way and the trend is going back towards age matters.

I know that search engines are giving first preference to the websites that are having high page rank and domain age. The question comes here is if the domain is pretty old but it is just reserved and having handful of contents and not even having a pagerank, will google still prefer to keep them in top search results?

I would strongly disagree with your statement. What evidence do you have to back up your statement. A casual search will show that this is not accurate. While it is important it is only part of the picture. I have a page ranking #1 out of 3.7 million and it has a N/a PR!

I think you should read the lines properly first and then you can strongly disagree with the statement.
