I've heard this is a good cheap way to advertise. I've previously used this, and didn't notice much results.
Perhaps that person didn't have the right people added..I hear that's an important factor as well.

Yes it depends on that people that are added. The people added might be there in for same reason as you are. So when I do add people, I take a look at their profile and others.

I know many people did this and do that only for marketing and promote their own product and try to sell it to his member. So far, i not really interested with this way. But looks like its working.

Yes.It is one way that we can advertise our products. Perhaps the response could be slow, but it's working sometimes. Actually,it's depend on how much your product can attract the consumer. That's it.
I once paid for this service. Did not see much traffic and the earnings were low for what I was expecting. I don't use myspace so can't comment on the impact of Bulletins.

I used to think Myspace bulletins were a very good way to advertise especially for a local business like a coffee shop or bar advertising bands or whatever... Nowadays the bulletin system is way to flooded with surveys and ""I just bought you as my friend." It is hard for your ad to float above the junk.

Yess. Bulletin is one way. But how consumeable your product? But, if you can advertise a very useful, then you will get the benefit from advertising in bulletin.
