Question

Hi yesterday I made an account on here with the intention of sharing a list of directories I maintain. I posted the list shortly after I noticed it was the wrong spot. I also commented on a few posts that I thought I could be of service.
Anyway I was banned for no apparent reason and my posts were removed. If I could be informed why it would be of great help. I dont believe i spamed anything and I am obviously not a bot.

I wont trouble you further but an answer would be nice.

Everyday there are people that want to share a list, a link, etc. Joining and dropping a list in any moderated forum the same day is probably not a good idea. While we do invite directory announcements, lists are a totally different story. In fact, posting lists in some other webmaster forums is cause for a ban as well.

And you question why you were banned? Look at the behavior... Join, post lists and post it to the wrong forum. From a moderators perspective, you have disrespected the community you joined right from the start.

I apologize, I used to moderate a gaming forum still shaking off some dust. I shouldve familiarized myself before I posted that list then I would've noted the fact this isnt just a forum for inclusion. My bad, if you will allow me to attempt to contribute to this community i promise you wont regret it. First forum I have been on for like 4 years.
